In response to requests from hospitality industry for training on Human Trafficking, East Portland Rotarians are sponsoring their 4th FREE seminar. Our speakers are members of the Portland Police Bureau's East Precinct Sex Trafficking Team.  Officer Michael Gallagher and Deputy DA Nicole Bockelman. What you will learn includes: Dynamics of Human Trafficking Signs of someone being trafficked Steps to take if you believe someone is being trafficked at your establishment How to prevent trafficking at your property Additional training resources for staff Call 503-255-0118 for any questions about this training. MORE THAN A SURVIVOR, MORE THAN A STORY         A Traveling Photo Exhibit The Exhibit, created by GEMS (Girls Educational and Mentoring Services) in New York City, honors victims of human trafficking who are now survivor leaders.  It celebrates their individuals for their beauty, strength, and accomplishments and a future beyond the trauma and stereotypes of commercial exploitation.
